IN-SEASON PITCHING PROGRAM
Mechanics, velocity, pitch shape, and command are critical elements to being successful on the mound. Equally as important is understanding how to get hitters out! Pitching to your strengths and exploiting a hitter's weaknesses are learned through competition. Our In-Season Pitching Program provides a comprehensive strategy to help players bridge the gap between practice sessions and game success.
How are you making adjustments pitch to pitch, inning to inning, appearance to appearance?
Do you recognize miss patterns and how to fix them?
Does your game performance match your bullpen sessions?
Does your confidence and command fluctuate based on the scoreboard or the umpires zone?
To be successful on the mound, pitchers must:
-
Dominate with your best fastball (velocity + location + movement)
-
Command a full pitch mix and sequence effectively
-
Understand and attack the strike zone with precision
-
Have a clear plan and adjustments for every count
-
Recognize hitter tendencies, timing, and swing patterns
-
Anticipate situations and execute under pressure
-
Throw strikes with intent while maintaining deception and stuff
-
Compete with a fearless mindset and a repeatable delivery
-
Make real-time adjustments without losing your mechanics or rhythm
A top end pitcher knows why he is missing, controls his thoughts and emotions in high-pressure situations, and — most importantly — knows exactly what adjustment to make and when, pitch to pitch.
Utilizing The Futures App for video breakdowns, drill recommendations, and chat feature, this program allows for consistent communication and instruction throughout the season — whether you’re in person or remote. Additionally, we will look at your game numbers to better help you understand the instances where you are having success vs struggling.
This is for players who have the desire to learn how to pitch...not just throw!
Who it is for:
-
Pitchers who are committed to working on their craft regularly (outside of team practice) and have the focus to compete on every single pitch.
-
Families who will upload and send game video of swings on a weekly basis.
-
Pitchers who are committed to a structured process and take a proactive approach — not reactive (waiting until velocity drops, command disappears, or they get shelled).
Who this is not for:
-
Players who are looking for quick fixes or shortcuts.
-
Players unwilling to commit to a structured plan.
-
Players who won’t execute weekly feedback.
