PHOENIX (AZ) The Diamond Club Select 18U team finished second in a field of 32 teams over the weekend in the Arizona Fall Classic Invitational Tournament.  After dropping the first game of pool play to BMP (Sacramento, CA), Diamond Club won the next two games against teams from the Phoenix area.  In the first game of elimination play, Diamond Club defeated Tromblay Baseball (Orange County, CA) 9-4.  They then won a thriller against Team Australia 4-3 to reach the championship game.  Diamond Club lost the championship game, their third game of the day, to the EJ Sports Warriors from San Francisco, 5-1.
