 - There will be no games played the weekend of December 26th.

HITTING LEAGUE RULES

Each game is 7 Innings or 40 minutes long.
 - 4 players per team.
 - Each player gets 6 swings per inning.
 - Each team will be allowed a warm-up inning prior to the start of the game.
 - Sections of the net at the side and rear of the cage will be marked for scoring.
 - Stats will be kept throughout the regular season.
 - All batters must stay in batter’s box. NO SWITCH HITTING DURING ROUND.
 - Helmets must be worn at all times.
 - NO PLAYERS OR PARENTS ARE ALLOWED TO ADJUST MACHINES.
 - There is a NO TOLERANCE POLICY in place. Any foul language or throwing bats/helmets will   result in player disqualification.
 - NO MAKE-UPS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Teams must have at least two players present at game time to play.
 - In the event a player misses a game, the score for that player will be computed based on the handicap established after the first two weeks of competition.  If a team is short a player at the start of the league, a score will be entered for the 'fourth' player by averaging the scores of the other players on the team on a weekly basis.  The same rule will apply if a player misses the first or second game of the season and has not established a handicap.
- No substitutions will be allowed except:
     A) If player quits, a permanent replacement player can be added to the roster.
     B) If a player is injured and cannot continue their participation in the league, a permanent replacement can be added.
 - NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason.
 - Teams that forfeit will receive the lowest point game total for that week for their division.
 - In case of a tie, a scorecard playoff will determine the winner.
 - Prizes will be awarded to age division team and individual winners.
 - Your team is responsible for keeping track of stats during the game. Team clipboards with score sheets and current stats will be kept by a Diamond Club staff member. Please return the clipboards and the score sheets to the clerk or Diamond Club Director after each game. The person keeping score must print his/her name and phone number at the top of the score sheet.
